Keep your files.Share them safely.

Your files are scattered across email threads, chat apps and a laptop you hope won't die. ArchShare is one place to keep them — in folders, safe — and the safest way to send them when someone needs them.

100 GB free · no card needed

  • Folders for everything you keep
  • Links you control
  • End-to-end encrypted sending
  • Know when it’s opened

Made for how files really live

We know you need one place for this

Not another app that only sends, or a drive that leaks every link it makes. ArchShare keeps your files and shares them — properly — in one place.

Store

A home for every file

Upload anything, keep it in folders, and find it again in seconds. Your drive, without the clutter.

  • Folders, grid and list views, previews for photos, PDFs and video
  • Search, filter by type and date, copy and move with your keyboard
  • 100 GB to start — upload files as large as your space allows
  • Deleted by mistake? Restore files and whole folders from the trash

Share

Send it, and stay in control

When a file needs to leave, send a link that expires, can be revoked, and shows you who opened it.

  • Links with expiry, download limits and one-click revoke
  • Only the people you name can open it, after confirming their email
  • Secure send: end-to-end encrypted — not even we can read it
  • Ask anyone for files with a request link, no account needed

Your transfers

One screen for everything you sent

Opens and downloads counted per link, the rules each one carries, and a revoke button that takes effect the moment you press it.

How it works

Three steps, then forget about it

  1. 01

    Keep

Upload files and whole folders — as large as your space allows. Organise them in folders, preview them, find them again in seconds.

  2. 02

    Share

Create a link and set the rules: who may open it, a password, an expiry date, a download cap. Or send it end-to-end encrypted.

  3. 03

    Stay in control

See every open and download. Change your mind and revoke the link — it stops working the moment you do.

After you hit send

A link you can still
change your mind about

Most tools hand you a URL and forget it. Here the link keeps reporting back — and stays yours to kill.

  1. You create the link

Pick the rules first: a password, an expiry date, a download cap, or one-time use.

  2. Someone opens it

The open is recorded. If the transfer is private, they confirm their email before they see a thing.

  3. They download

Each download is logged against the link, so "did they get it?" stops being a guess.

  4. You end it

Expiry does it for you, or you revoke by hand. Either way the link stops serving that second.

Features

Everything in one place

  • A real file manager

Folders, grid and list views, search and filters, rename, copy and move — from a right-click or the keyboard. Your drive, without the clutter.

  • End-to-end encrypted sending

Secure send locks files in your browser before they leave it. The key never reaches our servers, so not even we can open them.

  • Only the people you name

Restrict a link to specific addresses. Each person confirms their email with a code before a single file name is shown.

  • Links that expire

Set an expiry and the link stops working on its own. Cap the downloads, make it one-time, or add a password.

  • Preview before downloading

Photos, video, audio, PDFs and text open in the browser. Anything that could run code is shown as text or downloaded, never executed.

  • Know when it lands

Every open and download is recorded per link, with a chart of activity — so “did they get it?” stops being a guess.

  • Ask anyone for files

Send a request link and people upload straight into a folder you choose — no account needed on their side.

  • Documents to sign

Send a PDF for signature, see who has signed, and get the signed copy back in your files.

  • Nothing lost by accident

Deleted files and whole folders wait in the trash, ready to restore. Revoke a link and it stops serving that second.

Under the hood

Built like the files matter

  • The storage is never exposed

Files stream through the API, so a browser never learns a bucket URL. There is no long-lived link out in the wild to leak.

  • Revoke means revoke

Killing a transfer stops the bytes mid-flight. Access is rechecked on every request, not just when the link was opened.

  • Recipients can be verified

Mark a transfer private and each recipient confirms their address with an emailed code before the file list is shown.

  • Nothing runs in your browser

Previews are rendered as images, media, PDFs — or as plain text for code and HTML, which is what stops a shared file executing.

Answers

Questions people ask

Is ArchShare for storing files or sending them?

Both. Keep your files in folders like a drive, and when one needs to go to someone, send it with a link you stay in control of.

How much does it cost?

Nothing while ArchShare is in beta: every account gets 100 GB and every feature. Paid plans with more storage come later, and you will hear about them before anything changes.

How big can a file be?

As big as your free space. Large files are uploaded in pieces and joined on our side, so a dropped connection only costs a small part of the upload.

Who can open a share link?

Anyone holding it — unless you restrict it to named people, who then confirm their email with a code first. You can add a password, set an expiry, cap the downloads and revoke it whenever you like.

Is it end-to-end encrypted?

Secure send is: files are encrypted in your browser and the key travels only in the link or a passphrase you share, so we cannot read them. Ordinary storage and links are encrypted in transit and at rest, but not end-to-end, so previews and search work.

Can I see who downloaded a file?

Yes. Every open and download through a link is recorded with the time and the device, and shown to you on that link’s page.

Can people send files to me?

Yes. Create a file request and send its link. People upload into the folder you choose, without making an account — you decide whether they must confirm their email first.

What file types can I upload?

Any of them, hidden files included. Anything that could run in a browser is shown as plain text or downloaded, never executed.

What happens if I delete something?

Files and folders go to the trash and their links stop working at once. Restore them any time, or delete them for good to free the space.
