Privacy policy

ArchShare is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] (“we”). This page explains what we collect when you use ArchShare, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your files for anything but keeping and delivering them for you.

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself), and a profile photo if you add one. If you sign in with Google, the name, email and photo Google shares with us.
  • Your files: the files you upload and their details — name, size, type, folder, dates. For end-to-end encrypted transfers we hold only encrypted data we cannot read.
  • Sharing: the email addresses you send transfers or requests to, the settings of each link, and a record of each open and download (time, IP address and browser type).
  • People who use your links: the email address they confirm, and for file requests the name and address of whoever uploads.
  • Security and activity: sign-ins and account changes, with the IP address and device, so you and we can spot misuse.
  • Email: whether a transfer email was delivered and opened, so you can see that it arrived.

2. How we use it

  • To run ArchShare: store your files, deliver what you share, and show you its history.
  • To keep it secure: verify sign-ins and recipients, prevent abuse, investigate problems.
  • To contact you about your account and the service — security notices, changes to it.
  • Product news, only if you have agreed to it. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can turn it off in Settings.

3. Who we share it with

Only the services that run ArchShare for us, and only what they need:

  • Google Cloud and Firebase — hosting, file storage, the database, and Google sign-in.
  • Resend — sending emails such as sign-in codes, transfers and notifications.

We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. When you share a file, the people you send it to see what you chose to share with them.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use only what ArchShare needs to work: your sign-in session and theme choice are kept in your browser, and a small cookie tells this website you are signed in so it can offer “Open ArchShare”. It holds your first name and nothing else. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

Your files stay until you delete them; deleted items wait in the trash until you delete them for good. Account data is kept while your account exists; deleting your account removes it and your files, and anything left over is erased on request. Security and activity records are kept for as long as they help protect your account and the service.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your details in Settings, download your files at any time, and delete your account, which deletes it and your files. To have every other record about you erased too, ask us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, correct it, restrict or object to how we use it, or complain to a data-protection authority.

To make any request, email axymoreshiya@gmail.com. We will answer within 30 days.

7. Security

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, access to them is checked on every request, and Secure send encrypts end to end. Read more on our security page.

8. Children

ArchShare is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email before a significant change takes effect. Questions or requests: axymoreshiya@gmail.com.
